RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University's men's soccer program drew 1-1 with Aurora University on Wednesday evening in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) action.
Both teams were held off the score-sheet in a back-and-forth contest for the first 78 minutes, but DU got on the board first.
Giacomo Parrino scored at the 78:19 mark after being set up by
Martin Lamas and
Garrett Boston to put Dominican ahead.
Aurora responded with a goal in the 86th minute to even the match at 1-all, setting the stage for overtime. The two sides managed just three combined shots in the two overtime periods with the match finishing 1-1 after 110 minutes.
