RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University's women's basketball team fell 84-52 on the road to No. 11 Wheaton College on Tuesday afternoon in non-conference play.
DU had a solid first-half performance and trailed by just one at the end of the first quarter and just nine at the half. Wheaton outscored the Stars 49-26 in the second half to finish off the victory.
Alisha Markley led the attack with 16 points, making seven free throws, and adding two steals.
Sophia Warner had two three-pointers and three assists with ten points, DU's second player in double-digits.
Stephenee Huggans and
Dasia Norris chipped in nine and seven points, respectively.
