The set ended with a Warrior service error to give the Stars a 25-17 win and taking the match three sets to none.
"It was a great team win on the road tonight, with all 17 guys seeing action," said Assistant Coach Doug Burchett. "I thought there were a lot of guys who stepped up that haven't seen as many minutes and it was fun seeing them make big contributions out there."
Sharrah stepped up big for the Stars as he led the team with six service aces, 13 assists, and six digs in the match. Offensively, Kougan had seven kills while Cowan and Jacob Bush each had four of their own. As a team, the Stars managed 32 kills on just 57 total attacks while committing just nine errors hitting .404 on the night. The Stars also had 19 service aces in the match. Defensively, McGuire had two blocks and four digs while Cowan had three digs in the match.
"We also did a great job at the service line getting them out of their system with 19 total service aces," continued Coach Burchett. "Daniel Sharrah also had his best service career night with six aces and George Kougan finished with five."
The Stars return home on Tuesday, March 23rd when they welcome Edgewood College to the Igini Sports Forum starting at 7:00 p.m.
