Women's Recap: 
 
The Dominican University women's tennis team suffered another Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) loss at the hand of the Marian University. The Stars struggled and dropped the match 9-0. 
 
In doubles action, the combination of Stephanie Anhalt and Jacqueline Candelas would score the Stars' only point and drop their match 8-1.
 
The Stars couldn't get going in singles action either. Anhalt battled hard in her match losing the first set 6-4 before dropping the second 6-0. 
 
The women return to the courts on Saturday against Alverno at home. 
 
Men's Recap: 
 
On the men's side, the Stars would get their first win of the season, defeating the Sabres 7-2. 
 
In doubles action Diego Martinez and Joshua Sapnu fell in a competitive battle, dropping their match 8-3. The Stars picked up two more wins by default. 
 
Singles action would see Sapnu win his match-up in three sets. Samuel Pardinas won his match-up in two sets, 7-6 and 7-6. The remainder of the Stars' wins would come via default. 
 
The men are in action again next Sunday as they prepare for a showdown with Lakeland University in Forest Park.
