Milwaukee, WI – The Dominican University men's and women's tennis team wrapped up the 2021 regular season as they faced off against Wisconsin Luther College. Both teams would drop their last contests as the men would fall 2-7 while the women ended the year with a 9-0 loss. 
 
Women's Recap: 
In doubles action, the Stars would garner their only point via the duo of Sharon Neiza and Julia Hochstatter before dropping the match 8-1. 
 
Neiza battled in two sets in singles action. The Chicago native dropped her first set 6-1 before competing in the second set, eventually falling 6-4. 
 
The women conclude their season and will return to the courts next fall. 
 
Men's Recap: 
The Stars would drop all three doubles matches to the Warriors. Diego Martinez and Joshua Sapnu fought hard but fell in their match-up 8-4. 
 
The duo picked up the Stars only 2 wins on the day as both won their match in two sets. Martinez was victorious 6-0 and 6-3 while Sapnu dominated 6-1 and 6-3. 
 
The Stars next match-up is in the upcoming NACC Tournament as the #6 seed and will travel to MSOE on Monday. Start time is set for noon in Milwaukee Wisconsin.
