Game Two:
The Spartans kept their momentum in game two as they were able to bring a runner around the bases in the top of the first inning before adding three more in the second to make it 4-0.
In the bottom of the seventh inning,
Cecilia Winters-McCarthy led off by hitting a single up the middle.

"The team played extremely well today. In-game one, we had runners in scoring position in the sixth and seventh inning against the top pitcher in our conference. Unfortunately, we stranded 11 runners and we were one hit away from winning the game," said Head Coach
Cristina Lukas. "We did not adjust well in game two from an offensive standpoint, but finally got out timing late in the game. Pitchers
Brenna Angwin and
Allyson Dilday had outstanding performances for us today and put us in a position to win both games."
The Stars return to action Wednesday, April 28
th when they host Mount Mary University in a matchup starting at 6:00 p.m.
