LA CROSSE, Wis. – Dominican University's women's soccer team fought to a draw for the second-straight day on Sunday, tying with Wartburg College 0-0 in non-conference action.
Despite the lack of scoring, both sides racked up a combined 38 shots, 18 on target.
Regan Coxon led the Star attack with seven shots, four on target.
Lexie Canarelli also showed a threat on the offensive end with three shots, two on goal.
In goal for Dominican,
Ashley Ishman was excellent again, making nine saves in a full 110 minutes to earn her first shutout of the season.
DU earned two ties this weekend with solid non-conference programs. Wartburg was 4-0 going into the match while UWL held a 2-1 record prior to its tilt with Dominican.
