RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University's men's soccer program cruised to a 5-0 victory over Lakeland University on Saturday afternoon, notching its fourth-straight win.
After 15 scoreless minutes,
Giacomo Parrino opened his 2021 account with a tap-in goal assisted by
Nick Kowalczyk and
Garrett Boston. In the 18th minute,
Zachary Gamster made it 2-0 DU on a cheeky, back-heel deflection on a Kowalczyk shot.
Parrino secured his brace in the 19th minute, finding the net for a second time on an assist from
Vicente Castro. Kowalczyk picked up his third assist of the first half, finding Parrino in the box, who secured a first-half hat-trick.
