NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Dominican University's women's volleyball team fell in straight sets on the road to North Central College in non-conference play on Friday night. 
 
Dominican lost the first two sets by a combined seven points, falling 25-22 and 25-20, respectively. North Central then finished off the match with a 25-11 victory in the final frame. 
 
Gabija Sinickaite led the offense with eight kills while Summer Smith and Emily Schellhase each chipped in six. Sarah Lychock had 15 digs and three assists with zero reception errors to anchor the backline. Adeleen Dunker and Amanda Collier combined for 19 assists. 
 
In its next match, DU faces off with Illinois College in Jacksonville, Ill. at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29.
