RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University's women's basketball team secured a 62-41 win over Marian University in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play on Saturday afternoon. 
 
The Stars took a lead on an Alisha Markley three with 7:22 left in the first quarter and never trailed from that point, cruising to a 21-point win. Sophia Warner scored a season-high 16 points, knocking down four threes. Markley chipped in 15 points, also making four threes, and added six rebounds, two assists and three steals. 
 
Dasia Norris produced 13 points in 15 minutes off the bench, going 5-for-5 from the field. As a team, Dominican made 11 threes, tying a season-high. DU's four blocked shots also tie a season-best mark.
