RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University's women's basketball team was defeated in its opening game of 2022 on Tuesday evening, falling to Concordia Chicago in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) action.
DU got off to a slow start, falling behind early to CUC. Dominican outscored the Cougars 20-15 in the fourth quarter, but fell by a 74-40 final score.
Alisha Markley led the way with 22 points, adding seven rebounds and three steals.
Sophia Warner supported with seven points while
Mikala Williams chipped in six along with nine rebounds, five offensive.
Brianna Andresen knocked down a three and
Kamryn Woods added a two to round out the offensive effort.
