De Pere, Wis. - The Dominican University men's soccer team traveled to St. Norbert on Saturday afternoon and was victorious securing a 3-1 victory.
The Stars found themselves with an early deficit with a goal by the Green Knights in the 15th minute. Sophomore
John Cronnolly tied the game up late in the first half with a goal, assisted by
Jesus Lopez, in the 44th minute to make it 1-1.
The second half was the Cronnolly show, where he scored two more goals. His second goal in the match came in the 57th minute off of a penalty kick. Cronnolly would score his third goal of the match off of a free kick, from senior
Nick Kowalczyk, in the 78th minute.
Dominican moves 8-1-1 on the year and 5-1 in conference play. The Stars are on back in action on October 5th at home against NACC foe Marian University.
