Plymouth, Wis. - The Dominican University women's volleyball team, fresh off a match the previous night, fell to Lakeland University on Saturday afternoon. Lakeland would come away with a home victory 3-0.
The Muskies controlled most of the match winning the first set 25-14 and second set 25-17. The Stars would show some fight in the third and final set battling to a 26-24 defeat.
Vicky Krzyszkowski and
Cassidy Spies led the attack with nine and eight kills respectively. Dominican now falls to 4-10 overall and 1-3 in NACC play.
The Stars enjoy a break from conference play as they host Illinois College on Tuesday in River Forest.
