River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's volleyball team squared off against the visiting Concordia University Wisconsin, falling 3-1.
The first two sets were owned by the Falcons 25-19 and 25-16 respectively. The Stars bounced back in the third set, battling to a 24-24 score before a late run secured a 27-25 win. The Falcons would regroup in the third to seal the victory 25-16 and conclude the match.
Cassidy Spies led the Stars with 11 kills while senior
Vicky Krzyszkowski held the defensive effort with 7 blocks.
The Stars make the quick turnaroud as they host the visiting Sabres of Marian University at 12:00pm.
