River Forest, Ill - The Dominican University women soccer team hosted and defeated the number one seed in the conference, the Milwaukee School Of Engineering Raiders.
The Stars and Raiders had a lot of opportunities in the first half but neither team scored. In the second half, it was all Dominican as they scored two goals. The first goal came three minutes into the second half. It was scored by fifth-year senior
Hannah Anderson and was assisted by freshman
Mia Taullahu. In the 61st minute of the game, junior
Grace Larson gave the stars a 2-0 lead with a pass from freshman
Sierra Rioux.
Dominican now moves to 9-3-2 on the year and 7-1 in the conference. The stars are back in action Wednesday night at 7:00pm when they visit Aurora University.
