St. Louis, MO. - The Dominican University men's basketball team traveled to Principia College on Saturday. This was their second consecutive road game to start the season.

How it Happened:
-The Stars held their own in the first half and only trailed 36-31.
-It was Dominican's defense that kept the score close in the first half.
-DU only allowed Principia to shoot 44 percent from the field.
-The Stars struggled defensively in the second half and they gave up 57 points.
-Dominican's perimeter defense allowed Principia to make 83 percent of threes in the second half.

Andre Bennett was efficient with a 6 for 7 afternoon.
-Freshman
Joshua West was not afraid to mix it up with the taller players and led the team in rebounding.
