River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University men's basketball team hosted non-conference opponent Knox College into Igini.

Dominican: 66

How it Happened:
-Both schools held tough with one another in the first half resulting in a 26-25 halftime score with Dominican on top.
-In the first half, both schools struggled scoring the basketball with Knox shooting 25% and Dominican shooting 31%
-The Stars offense came alive in the second half scoring 40 of their 66 points and shooting 46% from the field.
-DU won the points in the paint battle 34-20
-The big difference in this game was the points off turnovers where the Stars scored 21 points. The Prairie Fire did not score any points off turnovers.
-The win breaks a four-game losing skid.
Shining Stars:
-Freshman
Joshua West lead the Stars with 23 points, 7 steals, and 9 rebounds.
-Junior
Jacob Riedl posted a double double scoring 15 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.
-Junior
Robert Taylor put up a great stat line putting up 11 points grabbing 5 rebounds, dishing out 2 assists, and collecting 2 blocks.
