RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University's third-ranked men's volleyball team cruised to a sweep of Lakeland University on Saturday afternoon in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) action.
DU defeated Lakeland by set scores of 25-13, 25-13 and 25-17, respectively, to move to 2-0 in conference play. The Stars were paced offensively by
George Kougan who tallied six kills and was supported by
Jarod Hesse with five kills.
Mat Molloy,
Tanner Dahman and
Lucas Eggers each tallied three kills.
Jack McGuire dished out 11 assists while
Daniel Sharrah accounted for eight.
In total, Dominican had 14 different players appear in the match. DU had its way for most of the contest, especially from the service line where it racked up 12 aces.
