RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University's men's basketball team was downed by the Illinois Institute of Technology on Wednesday night in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play.
DU trailed by 12 at the break and was unable to mount a comeback, falling 79-62 on the road.
Jackson Smith led the scoring effort with 24 points, adding five rebounds and four assists.
Robert Taylor shot an efficient 6-for-8 from the field, posting 13 points.
Jacob Riedl joined his teammates in double-digits with 10 points, making both of his three-point attempts.
