RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University's fifth-ranked men's volleyball program swept Wabash College in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.
DU controlled the match from start-to-finish winning by set scores of 25-6, 25-16 and 25-17. Head Coach
Doug Burchett earned his first collegiate victory in a contest in which 13 different Stars registered at least one kill.
George Kougan led the attack with eight kills, hitting .571 with zero errors.
Lucas Eggers chipped in six kills at a .455 clip while
Aaron Marrs,
Mat Molloy and
Jarod Hesse added four each.
Jason Kougan picked up his first career kill in the third set.
Kade Van Assen,
Owen Morrow,
Ryan Barnett and
Nathaniel Cossyleon all recorded their first appearances of their young careers.
