RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- Dominican University's second-ranked and top-seeded men's volleyball program swept fifth-seeded MSOE in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Volleyball Tournament Semifinal on Thursday evening.
DU advances to the NACC Tournament Championship on Saturday, April 11, playing host to second-seeded Benedictine at 5 p.m. inside the Igini Sports Forum. Dominican defeated MSOE by set scores of 25-15, 25-22 and 25-18, respectively, to stretch its win-streak to 19 straight matches.
Trey Cowan led the attacked with 17 kills at a blistering .448 clip, adding two block assists, four digs and one service ace.
George Kougan provided 10 kills in support.
Jack McGuire facilitated the offense to the tune of 25 assits, chipping in two service aces, three kills, five digs and three block assists.
Defensively,
Mat Molloy and
Jacob Bush combined for six block assists in the middle.
Danny Pacini provided a steady presence on the backline with nine digs and one assist.
