River Forest, Ill. - Dominican University's men's and women's soccer programs were honored by the United Soccer Coaches Association and it announced its College Team Academic Award recently, recognizing programs for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2021-22 academic year.
The men's program carried a 3.39 team GPA ranking first in the NACC amongst teams honored while the women's program carried a 3.56 and ranked second in the NACC.
A total of 799 soccer teams (299 men, 500 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2021-22 academic year.
Dominican was among the 151 schools that had both their men's and women's programs recognized.United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.
