Box Score River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University men's soccer team opened their 2022 season with a 3-1 road victory against Knox College.

The Praire striked first in the 6th minute to take the early 1-0 lead. Dominican's defense would hold Knox at bay until a Vicente Castro goal evened the score at 1-1 in the 43rd minute.

The Stars would then open the scoring in the second half as John Cronnolly scored via penalty kick to give the Stars the 2-1 advantage. Castro would then cap off his night by scoring his second goal to make it 3-1 Dominican in the 82nd minute. 

The Stars open their homestand on Sunday to host Wesbter University at 12:00pm on West Campus Field.
