River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University Stars men's soccer team took down CCIW opponent Wheaton College 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

The Stars started the scoring early at the six minute mark with a goal by John Cronnolly, assisted by Hansi Katterle and Carter Bass. Later in the half, the Thunder found the equalizer but less than a minute later Ryan Mehlschau put the Stars back out in front. 

Following the three goals in the first half, both teams were held scoreless in the second half. 

The win moves the Stars to 3-0-1 on the year, and are back in action Wednesday night at 4;00pm with NACC foe Illinois Institue of Technology
