Bloomington, Ill. - The Dominican University women's soccer team lost to Wartburg College 3-1 on Sunday.

Wartburg got off to a quick start with a goal in the 26th minute. The Stars rallied back to tie the game with a goal from Freshman Sarah Matuszek that was assisted by Junior Alexandra Canarelli. The 1-1 tie would hold going into halftime. The second half saw two more goals from Wartburg.

The Stars lost both contests in Bloomington this weekend and their record falls to 1-2-2. They are back in action on Wednesday when they face off against Illinois Tech at 7:00 p.m.
