Stars Move to 3-0 in NACC with win over Benedictine

River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's soccer team defeated Benedictine University 1-0 on Wednesday.

The action came in the 18th minute with a great set up for junior Grace Larson who put away her sixth goal of the season. The strike was set up perfectly by freshman Mia Taullahu and fifth year Michaela Thawley. The Stars had to hold on as freshman Faith Richards stepped up in the second half to record three big saves and keep Benedictine off the board.

The victory for Dominican is their fourth of the season and third conference victory. The Stars improve their record to 4-2-2 (3-0). Dominican is back in action for Homecoming this Saturday against Wisconsin Lutheran at 2:45 p.m.
