Fond du Lac, Wis. - The Dominican men's basketball team traveled to Marian University on Saturday.

Dominican: 66
Marian: 91
How it Happened:
-The Stars shot 45% in the first half, while MU shot a scorching 67% from the field.
-DU fell behind partly due to their poor outside shooting, making just 2 of 7 first-half attempts.
-Dominican found themselves down 50-30 at half.
-The second half saw the Stars' defense improve greatly and MU shot just 39% from the field.
-DU was 12-17 from the free throw line, and MU was very efficient there as well making 9 of their 10 attempts.
Shining Stars:
-JuniorÂ
Andre Bennett led the team in scoring despite just playing 21 minutes.
-Junior
Jacob Riedl continued to rebound at a high level and was just one rebound short from a double-double.
-Riedl also impacted the game on the defensive end by leading the Stars in steals and also recording a block.
