River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's soccer team went on the road to face Concordia Wisconsin on Saturday.

How it Happened:
-Dominican got off to a great start in the first half when sophomore
Natalia Lopez scored her 7th goal of the season to put DU up 1-0. That goal was scored in the 18th minute.
-The Stars weren't able to hold onto their first-half lead, however, as the Falcons equalized the match in the 36th minute.
-DU went to halftime tied 1-1.
-Dominican came out in the second half on fire and scored a go-ahead goal just 2 minutes into the half.
-It was senior
Sophia Bartridge's 5th goal of the season that put the Stars up 2-1.
-Just 5 minutes later, Lopez added a team-best 8th goal of the season to put DU up 3-1.
-Dominican's defense shut out CUW in the second half to earn their 7th conference victory of the season.
Shining Stars:
-Lopez carried the offensive output with 2 goals on a career-high 15 shots and 8 shots on goal.
-Bartridge's goal was key to get the Stars back on top at the beginning of the second half.
-Sophomore

Grace Larson, and junior
Katie Norlie eached notched an assist in the match.
-Sophomore
Faith Richards kept a clean sheet in the second half on 2 saves.
