River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's soccer team hosted Concordia Chicago on Wednesday. This was the regular-season finale for the Stars.

Results:
CUC: 0
DU: 1

How it Happened:
-Dominican had an up and down first half but for the most part dominated with 10 shots to CUC's 3.
-Sophomore Mia Tauilahu got the Stars on the board with an assist from sophomore Natalia Lopez in the 21st minute.
-Senior Alexandria Canarelli and freshman Mackenzie Cuddihy each had important potential goal saving defensive plays in the half as well.
-DU led 1-0 at half.
-The Stars did a good job possessing the ball and keeping it out of harms way in the second half.
-Dominican didn't allow a single shot on goal in the period.
-DU finished off CUC 1-0 to earn their fifth win in a row.

Shining Stars:
-Tauliahu had an amazing strike for her first goal of the season. She also just barely missed out on two other goals as she was barely offside and hit the post with another.
-Lopez put the pressure on the defense with 8 shots and also recorded the team's only assist.
-Sophomore Faith Richards did a nice job in goal keeping a clean sheet and earning the victory.
