River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's volleyball team hosted Edgewood College for their final home match of the season on Thursday.

How it Happened:
-Dominican fought hard in a back and forth first set.
-The Stars couldn't overcome 9 errors and lost 25-21.
-DU fell behind quickly in the set and trailed by as many as 9 points.
-Dominican showed off their resiliency and came all the way back to tie the set but ultimately fell 25-18.
-The Stars ran out of steam in the third set with just 10 kills and fell 25-14.

Cassidy Spies had another strong offensive performance leading the Stars in kills and aces,
-Junior
Charlotte Hain was impressive defensively with a match-high 16 digs.
-Junior
Olivia Mendell distributed the ball nicely as she had a match-high 24 assists.
