River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's soccer team hosted Illinois Tech on Wednesday.

How it Happened:
-Dominican struggled to create much offense in the first half with just 3 shots.
-DU fell behind in just the second minute of the match and then further in the eighth minute. The Stars trailed 2-0 at halftime.
-Dominican faced a barrage of shots from IIT in second half having to fend off 16 shots.
-DU made 7 saves in the period but it wasn't enough as the Scarlet Hawks added 3 additional goals.
-The Stars fell 5-0.

Alexandria Canarelli led the team in shots and shots on goal.

Grace Larson was asked to play all 90 minutes and also had 2 shots.
-Sophomore
Faith Richards had 5 saves and allowed just 1 goal.
