Fond du Lac, Wis. - The Dominican University women's soccer team traveled to Marian University on Saturday.

How it Happened:
-Dominican fell behind immediately as a goal was scored by Marian just over a minute into the match.
-The Stars defense held stout throughout the rest of the first half.
-DU trailed 1-0 at halftime.
-Dominican found an equalizer when senior
Grace Larson scored her 6th goal of the season in the 73rd minute.
-The Stars suffered a heart breaker as Marian found the winning goal in the 88th minute from a free kick 25 yards out.
-DU lost 2-1.
Shining Stars:
-Larson had the lone goal for DU while playing all 90 minutes.
-Senior
Sophia Bartridge put pressure on the defense with 4 shots on goal throughout the match.
-Sophomore
Faith Richards played all 90 minutes in goal and had 6 saves.
