How it Happened:
-Dominican was efficient in the first set but was unable to overcome 14 kills by Marian and lost the first set 25-16.
-DU struggled with 8 errors in the second set and lost 25-16 again.
-The Stars tried a different lineup in the third set but still couldn't get the momentum going as they fell 25-14.
Shining Stars:
-Junior
Olivia Mendell contributed 17 assists and also led the team in service aces. She is now just 7 away from 1,000 career assists.
-Senior
Cassidy Spies had a strong performance offensively and defensively as she led the team in kills and digs.
-Senior
Maya Green and sophomore
Ellery Shea contributed 2 blocks each to lead the Stars.
