Greenville, Ill. - The Dominican University men's basketball team traveled to Greenville University on Tuesday.

Dominican: 110

How it Happened:
-The Stars were forced to play an up-tempo game against Greenville who loves to push the pace.
-Dominican managed 61 first-half points which was easily the most they have scored in a half this season.
-DU took 40 shots within the three point line in the half and made 27 of them.
-The Stars went into halftime trailing 71-61.
-Dominican had more of the same in the second half offensively, but defensively they improved quite a bit.
-DU forced Greenville to shoot just 31 percent from the field in the second half and narrowed their deficit.
-The Stars made 23 shots in the second half all of which were two-point field goals.
-Dominican couldn't overcome Greenville's 34 fast-break points and lost 113-110.
Shining Stars:
-Sophomore
Joshua West tied his career-high in rebounds and recorded a double-double with 24 points. West led the team in almost every statistical category.
-Senior
Robert Taylor set a new career-high in points and shot an efficient 12 of 17.
-Junior
Andre Bennett came off the bench and played 27 minutes. He distributed the ball nicely and led the team in assists.
