River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican women's basketball team hosted Elmhurst University on Tuesday.

Elmhurst: 90
Dominican: 42
How it Happened:
-The Stars had a strong first quarter. They scored a team-high 15 points in the period and allowed a game-low 17 from Elmhurst.
-Dominican made 6 of their 12 shots in the quarter and also made all three free-throws they attempted.
-DU struggled to maintain that offensive efficiency in the second quarter and their production dropped to just 8 points in the period compared to Elmhurst's 28.
-The Stars went into halftime down 45-23.
-Dominican had a rough third quarter from the free throw line as they made just 3 of 8 attempts.
-DU made their only three in the final period of play but they couldn't overcome 33 turnovers and lost 90-42.

Kamryn Woods had solid production off the bench as well as she was in double figures.
