How it Happened:
-The Stars came out of the gate in the first quarter scoring 11 points, on 5 of 17 shooting from the field.
-Dominican's offense in the second quarter putting up 15 points in the second quarter, by going 6 of 15 from the field and knocking down 3 threes.
-DU went into halftime trailing 30-26. Dominican's leading scorer at the break was Sophomore Kameron Goodman with 9 points.
-The Stars came out of halftime battling putting up 13 points in the third quarter.
-Dominican's offense turned it up fourth. Scoring 19 points in the quarter, the most points put up in a single quarter of this game. The Stars shot 42% from the field.
-DU was led by Freshman Lia Saunders in the second half, who had 13 points.
-Dominican scored 19 points against Mount Mary off of forced turnovers.
Shining Stars:
- Freshman Lia Saunders was the Stars leading scorer with 19 points.
- Freshman Kameron Goodman chipped in with 13 points and 7 steals.
-Freshman Kaitlyn Milison had 10 points going 4 of 9 from the field and 2 of 2 from the line.
-Senior Kamryn Woods had a team high 11 rebounds.
