River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's basketball team hosted the Hornets of Kalamazoo College for their last Non-Conference game before the holiday break.

How it Happened:
-The Stars scored 12 points on 33% shooting from the field. Dominican shot 0-5 from 3.
-DU shot 22% in the second quarter. Scoring 10 points in the quarter.
-The Stars went into halftime down 30-22.
-Dominican shooting struggles continued only scoring 8 points on 20% shooting, and 0-6 from behind the arc.
-Dominican's offense turned it up fourth. Scoring 19 points in the quarter, 9 of them from the charity stripe. Stars shot 33% in the quarter.
Shining Stars:
- Freshman Laila Jones was a spark off the bench scoring 9 points on 4-5 shooting.
- Freshman Kaitlyn Milison had 8 points and 9 rebounds.
-Freshman Lia Saubders led the team with 4 assists.
