Chicago, Ill. - The Dominican University men's basketball team made the short trip to North Park University on Monday for a non-conference matchup.

How it Happened:
-It was an even battle all throughout the game.
-Dominican shot 44 percent in the first half compared to North Park's 50 percent and that was the slight difference in the halftime score of 42-39.
-DU made 4 threes in both the first and second half.
-Senior
Jacob Riedl'sgame-tying three was one of the highlights of the second half as he drilled a three with just nine seconds left.
-The Stars went on a 7-0 run to end regulation and force overtime tied 79-79.
-Dominican was locked in for overtime as they didn't miss a single shot from the field.
-DU kept NPU to just 3 for 10 from the field and earned their second non-conference victory of the season.
Shining Stars:
-Riedl had one of his performances of the season recording an impressive statline of 18 points, 17 rebounds, 4 assists, a block, and a steal.
-Sophomore
Joshua West was perfect from the free-throw line making 8 of 8 attempts and recording 17 points.
-Senior
Robert Taylor did a little of everything as he finished with a scoring total in double-figures, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals.
