River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican men's basketball team hosted Illinois Tech on Tuesday.

How it Happened:
-The Stars shot 40% in the first half, while IITÂ shot a solid 44% from the field.
-DU fell behind partly due to their poor outside shooting, making just 1 of 8 first-half attempts.
-Dominican found themselves down 31-28Â at half.
-The Stars did a nice job defending the perimeter and IIT made only 2 of 14 threes.
-DU was 10-19 from the free throw line, and IITÂ made 6-7.
Shining Stars:
-Freshman
Joshua West had an efficient scoring night and led the team in scoring.
-JuniorÂ
Jacob Riedl pounded the boards and impacted the game by leading in rebounds.
-Junior
Camron Scott, who was the NACC leader in blocked shots entering the game, had two more blocks and 3 steals to lead both categories.

What's Next:
