River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican men's basketball team hosted Lakeland University in the final home game of the season.

Dominican: 86
Lakeland: 67
How it Happened:
-The Stars shot 39.7% in the first half and 85% from the free throw line.
-DU was up 39-27 at halftime.
-The Stars started right where they left off going on a 7-0 run to start the second half.
-Dominican shot the lights out in the second shooting 50% from the floor and 53.8% from behind the arc.
-The Stars won the fast-break points comparison 26-18.
-DU led the entire game.
Shining Stars:
-Freshman
Joshua West led the team in scoring with 24 points, and grabbed 6 rebounds.
-Junior
Jacob Riedl had a huge game collecting a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds.
-Junior
Camron Scott, who was the NACC leader in blocked shots entering the game, added 6 more blocks to his total and collected 7 rebounds.
-Senior
Christopher Burel led the team in assists with 7. Burel tagged on 8 points and 3 steals also.

What's Next:
Dominican will be on the road Saturday afternoon at MSOE with a tip at 2:00 p.m.
