Rosemont, Ill.- The Dominican University softball team hosted the Falcons of Concordia Wisconsin Friday afternoon.

How it Happened:
-Dominican grabbed the lead first off the bat of Sophomore
Emma Woodhouse.
-It was a pitchers dual between the two starters for the first four innings only allowing four hits between the two of them.
-The Falcons took the lead in the top of the fifth scoring 3 runs on 3 hits.
-CUW added 2 more runs on 2 hits in the top of the sixth.
-Concordia Wisconsin did not let up and scored 2 runs on a hit in the top of the seventh.
Shining Stars:

Emma Woodhouse led the Stars going 1-3 with an RBI

Kailey Kirkwood went 1-3 with a triple.

How it Happened:
-Both teams were held scoreless until the top of the third. Both pitchers only giving up a total of three hits between the two of them.
-The Falcons grabbed the lead in the top of the third by scoring 2 runs on two hits.
-CUW added 4 runs on 3 hits in the top of the fourth making the score 6-0.
-Concordia Wisconsin continued to dominate by scoring 5 runs on 4 hits in the top of the fifth.
Shining Stars:
-Junior
Makayla Barnes led the Stars going 2-2 with a triple.
-Kirkwood continued hitting well going 2-2 with a 2B and 3B.
