-Stars took the lead in the bottom of the first by an RBI single by Senior
Delaney McRiley, Senior
Kailey Kirkwood followed it up with her own RBI single making the score 2-0.
-DU added on in the bottom of the second with a 2 RBI double by Senior Gisselle Castaneda. Senior
Makayla Barnes drove in the thrid run of the inning with an RBI single.
-Freshman
Paytin Salfi drove a run in the bottom of the third with an RBI double.
-Dominican added another run in the bottom of the fourth with a stolen base from Barnes.
-The Stars walked off game one in the bottom of the fifth with an RBI double from Castanedda.

Giselle Castaneda led the Stars going 2-3 with 3 RBI's and a run scored.

How it Happened:
-Senior
Delaney McRiley kicked off the scoring for the Stars with an RBI single up the middle to make the score 1-0.
-Dominican poured it on the Inferno in the bottom of the second by scoring 7 runs on 7 hits. Sophomore
Emma Woodhouse brought in the first two runs on an RBI double. Barnes followed it up by a two RBI triple. The fifth run of the inning came off the bat of McRiley on a groundout to second base.Kirkwood drove in an RBI on a single up the middle, and the final run of the inning came off the bat of Senior
Geneva Pollman with an RBI triple.
-Pollman added an insurance run in the bottom of the fourth inning with her first homerun of the season, and her second collegiate homerun.
