Milwaukee, Wis. - The Dominican University Softball team traveled to MSOE on Friday for a doubleheader.
Game 1 Results:
Dominican: 0
MSOE: 4
How it Happened:
-The Stars sent out freshman
Elise Gamino for game one in what was her first career start.
-Gamino held her own in the circle only allowing 1 earned run in 4.2 innings of work.
-Junior
Alexis Smith pitched in relief and did her job with no runs scoring in her inning and a third.
-Dominican's offense struggled and could only muster 3 hits in the loss.
Shining Stars:
-Junior
Delaney McRiley provided two of the Stars' three hits.
-Junior
Makayla Barnes was the only other player for DU to get a hit.

Dominican: 0
MSOE: 8
How it Happened:
-The Stars offense continued to cool off from the past 8 games and Dominican only produced a lone hit.
-MSOE had a big first and fifth inning to take control and easily win game 2.

Kailey Kirkwood had the lone hit for the Stars.
