Aurora, Ill.- The Dominican University women's soccer team went on the road to face-off against Aurora University in the first conference matchup of the year.

How it Happened:
-Dominican and Aurora played a very close game from start to finish. 
-The Stars put two shots on target. One by Junior Katie Norlie, and the second by Sophomore Sarah Matuszek. 
-DU played down a player with 16 minutes left in the game. 
Shining Stars:
-Norlie led the Stars with 2 shots. 
- Sophomore's Gabby Thawley and Faith Richards combined for 5 saves.
