River Forest, Ill.- The Dominican University women's soccer team hosted conference foe Alverno College on homecoming weekend.

How it Happened:
-Dominican opened up the scoring in the second minute of the game when Freshman Meghan Wilhite scores from the penalty marker. 
-The Stars make it 2-0 off the foot of Senior Grace Larson. 
-Two minutes later Sophomore Karolina Stasik gets herself a goal making the score 3-0.
-Wilhite got her second goal of the game off of a cross from Junior Katie Norlie.
-Larson found her second goal of the game in the 35th minute. 
-Dominican would go into halftime up 5-0 and with 18 total shots. 
-DU got Wilhite her hat-trick in the 67th minute of the game, off of a cross from Stasik. 

Shining Stars:
-Wilhite led the Stars with 3 goals, 5 shots and 4 of them on target. 
-Sophomore Natalia Lopez had 5 shots and 2 of them on target. 
-Senior Grace Larson converted 2 goals, along with 4 shots and 2 of them being on target. 
-Junior Katie Norlie had 2 shots one of them on target, and an assist. 
-Sophomore Karolina Stasik collected 4 shots one of them being on target, and a goal.
