River Forest, Ill. -The Dominican University men's soccer team hosted Luther College on Saturday for their Homecoming matchup.

Luther: 1
Dominican: 0
How it Happened:
-The match was between two very physical teams which led to 6 yellow cards.
-Dominican had the better chances in the first half but couldn't capitalize.
-The Stars out-shot their opponent 5-2.
-DU went into halftime tied 0-0.
-The second half was more even as Luther had 6 shots to Dominican's 5.
-The difference in the match was a penalty called in the 79th minute.
-Luther scored the lone goal of the match off that penalty kick.
-The Stars out-shot Luther 10-8 but lost for the first time this season.

Dylan Alic and Freshman
Ciaran Geraghty were the ironmen for DU as they were the only players with all 90 minutes played.
-Juniors
John Cronnolly and
Oscar Montejano each had two shots on goal.
-Sophomore
Oscar Cerritos and junior
Shane Marinkovich split the goalkeeping duties and only allowed the 1 goal.
