Rolla, MO. - The Dominican University men's volleyball team traveled to Missouri S&T on Sunday.
Results:
Dominican: 0
Missouri S&T: 3
How it Happened:
-Dominican had a decent start to the match with 12 kills but couldn't overcome 8 errors.
-DU lost the first set 25-22.
-The Stars tried to bounce back in the second set with 12 kills once again and this time had just 3 errors.
-Missouri S&T was too tough with 17 kills and Dominican lost the second set 25-21.
-DU struggled to get much going in the third and final set as they had just 8 kills compared to MS&T's 16.
-The Stars fell in the final set 25-20.
Shining Stars:
-Senior
Jarod Hesse did a little of everything with 8 kills, 10 digs, and an ace.
-Junior
Jason Kougan was strong at the net for DU with 4 blocks.
-Junior
Aaron Marrs led the team in kills while contributing 2 blocks and 2 assists as well.
