River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University men's basketball team hosted Marian University on Wednesday.

Marian: 58
Dominican: 68
How it Happened:
-Dominican was extremely efficient in the first half as they shot 62 percent from the field and 50 percent from three.
-The Stars had just 21 shots compared to Marian's 32.
-DU led 38-35 at halftime.
-Dominican's hot shooting trailed off slightly in the second half but they still shot a solid 55 percent.
-The biggest difference in the game was the three point shooting of DU as they made 9 threes compared to Marian's 5 and shot a higher percentage.
-The Stars also made 11 free throws on 18 attempts.
-Dominican finished off Marian 68-58 to earn their fourth conference victory of the season.
Shining Stars:
-SophomoreÂ
Joshua West had a career-high 26 points on 9 of 11 shooting. He also got after it on the defensive end leading the Stars in steals.
-Junior
Camron Scott came off the bench and gave DU a huge boost on the boards as he collected a career-high 10 boards.
-Junior
Daniel Nennig did a little of everything playing 31 minutes and finishing with 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.
