River Forest, Ill.- The Dominican University women's basketball team hosted Edgewood College on Wednesday. Edgewood is currently in first place in the NACC.

Edgewood: 87
Dominican: 39
How it Happened:
-The Stars couldn't muster up much offense in the first quarter. They were outscored 23-4 and had to play from behind for the entirety of the game.
-DU's offense improved slightly in the second but Edgewood remained hot and scored 25 points to go into halftime with a 48-14 lead.
-Dominican had their best offensive quarter in the third as they made 33 percent of their shots and scored 13 points.
-The Stars played their best quarter in the final period as they kept Edgewood to just 14 points.
Shining Stars:
-Sophomore Kameron Goodman scored in double figures and played all 40 minutes.
-Freshman Laila Jones got the start and did a nice job on the glass leading the team in rebounding.
-Senior Mackenzie Coleman facilitated Dominican's offense nicely and led DU in assists.

What's Next:
