River Forest, Ill. – The Dominican University women's soccer team hosted the Eagles of Edgewood College at West Campus Field on Wednesday afternoon.

-Dominican had the first goal opportunity of the game with Freshman
Tia Garr one-on-one with the goalie, but her shot missed the target.
-Junior
Sarah Borsellino got the Stars on the board first in the 22
nd minute of the game, scoring on a penalty kick.
-DU struck with their second goal of the game when Graduate Student
Regan Coxon scored in the 38
th minute of the game. Senior
Ava Mascoe-Talbott earned the assists for the goal.
-Dominican took a two-goal lead into the half and outshot the Eagles 7-1 in the first half.
-DU started right where they left off with a goal in 47
th minute of the game, when Senior
Katie Norlie scoring her first goal of the season. Freshman
Ariana Barney and Junior
Mia Dosen collected the assists for the goal.
-Barney was not done though, scoring in the 75
th minute of the game.
-Dominican outshot Edgewood 15-1 and 11-0 in the shot on goal department.

Katie Norlie had a goal on her only shot of the match.
-Graduate Student
Regan Coxon came off the bench and had a goal and an assist on 4 total shots. 3 of the shots were on the target.

Ariana Barney continued to put on a show scoring a goal and an assist.
